Erik Lawson


Erik Lawson, the founding Pastor of Element Church, is a 16-year veteran noted for his innovative approach to ministry. Erik is renowned for his unique ability to bring the Bible to life in memorable ways using vivid illustrations mixed with humor and practical life application. His down to earth approach, relevance, genuine love for others, and passion to see them experience a growing relationship with God appeal to people of all ages and backgrounds.

Prior to pioneering Element Church, Erik was on the staff of Church On The Move in Tulsa, Oklahoma for over twelve years under the leadership of Pastor Willie George. During this time, Erik served as Associate Youth Pastor and then Youth Pastor of Church On The Move's nationally acclaimed youth ministry, Oneighty®. His forward-looking leadership style and out of the box approach was instrumental in helping Oneighty® become the nation's largest local church youth ministry reaching more than 2,500 students each week.

His proven track-record and refreshing approach to ministry make him a sought after speaker across the country.

Erik has been married to the love of his life, Christy, for more than 10 years and enjoys spending time with their three children Courtney, Brooke, and Wesley.
